Assurety Consulting & Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Technical Analyst that can exhibit superior technical knowledge and key computer competencies. We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Technical Analyst. As part of our team, you collaborate with corporate leadership and interview subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine existing technical capabilities, current obstruction to business objectives, and future technological opportunities, delivering reports to relevant stakeholders and creating comprehensive roadmaps for implementation. This role requires you to be able to quickly understand and address the technical infrastructure of a large and dynamic organization, and our ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with considerable prior experience in a relevant technical field, particularly with experience in Analyst roles. MUST have excellent communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have advanced requirements gathering skills (technical and business)
• Must have 10+ years of experience as a technical analyst.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills and experience
• Must have SQL Development skills and experience
• Must have development skills and experience in one or more languages
• Must have QA skills and automation experience
• Must have Business Analysis and requirements management skills
• Must have client management skills
• Must have Technical Writing skills
• Must have customer service, communications management experience in managing customer expectations.
• Must have minimum Six (6+) years of professional experience analyzing data needs, business needs, performing business process engineering, proposing business solutions and documenting requirements
• Must have prior QA and QA Automation experience writing scripts to automate testing processes.
• Must understand XML, Jason, and relational databases; Past database development, data analysis and programming experience is needed
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information systems or science related field or relative experience, Master’s degree in related field is a plus
• Must be a U.S. citizen and/or authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
• Must be able to get cleared with public trust US government clearance

Responsibilities:

• Supports processes such as ideation, business requirements, technical requirements, data modeling, data analysis and governance, API design, solutioning and architecture, quality assurance, quality control, and risk management. 
• Provides integration management and oversight over IT design and development activities to make sure all business needs are met while developing state-of-the practice systems. 
• Envisions business transactions and business reporting using ERD diagrams, data entities and elements. 
• Elicits B2B and B2C data, systems, and functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, business analysis, and data and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs. 
• Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and delivers the following artifacts as needed: (Technical Requirements /Functional requirements (Software Requirements Document), Process Flow, work flow and data flow documents, Use Cases, GUI, (Screen and Interface designs), training guides and materials, user guides, technical guides, Data specific modeling design 
• Utilizes his/her experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies 
• Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
• Evaluates COTS solutions as an independent consultant and provides options to the customer for procurement. 
• Performs design thinking activities to discover to-be state and supports iterative processes for successful innovative solutions development.
• Uses PMI project management techniques to enable successful outcomes.
• Helps with customer interaction, communication, and customer onboarding to newer software systems. 
• Acts as a liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

Skills Required:

• You should have strong problem solving, consulting, requirements management, leadership, written and verbal communication skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills are also required. 
• Basic Knowledge of Internet technologies, data exchange technologies and web applications Including XML, Jason, Cloud is critical to the role’s success. 
• Familiarity with testing tools and government accessibility requirements is a plus. 
• Working knowledge of Scrum is required 
• Knowledge and experience developing UML use cases is a plus 
• Prior experience eliciting requirements for web based and database systems 
• Excellent client presence and facilitation/communication skills. 
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Visio, Word, PPT etc.) 
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. 
• Must possess good understanding of business process engineering 
• Must be well trained in technical writing skills.
