Tariq Mirza, VP Postal Consulting discussed the role of digital addresses in the future of postal digital services. The presentation discussed product innovation, forever addresses, electronic addresses (social media, email) linkage, multiple coded addresses per consumer, consumers receiving mail and shipments using their digital addresses, linking to opted-in consumer marketing campaigns without sharing consumers’ PII with marketers, and much more.
The Goal of Digital addresses is to save on Move costs, develop new targeted marketing products that mask the name and address to support PII and generate new revenues.
