We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to Join Our Team
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the requirements and business analysts, client, IT developers and engineers and the PMO. The individual develops test plans, test cases, requirements to test case matrix, and makes sure that the software being releases is bug free to minimize customer experience and cost impacts. The individual will test UI, UX and functional systems and applications including testing APIS.

Candidates for this role will be based in the United States near Washington DC Metro area and the position is Hybrid in nature.
Your Impact:
- Recognize the mission of the client organization, analyze business and quality assurance needs and develop plans, test cases, and execute test cases to make sure that the software is released without errors and bugs.
- With limited direction, carry out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company and client standards and end-user requirements.
- Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects and/or supports testing as a witness to testing requirements.
- Review all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
- Organize and maintains all quality assurance documentation. Documents all problems and works to resolve them.
- Report progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
- Perform work flow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
- Implement system and application changes that sustain revenues of the client, improve customer experience, cut workflow and operational costs, and bring efficiencies to the overall product, pricing, accounts receivable, workflow automation, revenue assurance systems and applications.Manage the workload and communicate the progress in daily meetings and weekly reports to the client
- Identify risks and communicate risks to client and PMO.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
- Incumbents function as a liaison between IT, Requirements analyst, client and users and have both business and technical expertise.
- Work with data files, flat files, XML, Jason and other formats to define business and technical requirements.
- Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to developing agile and waterfall business, functional and technical requirements, API design documents, business needs statements, schedules, requirements matrix, reports, technical and business guides, management of data specifications changes, Change Request, Engineering Change Requests, Test Problem Reports, communications performance analytics, training PowerPoints to train customers (internal and external on new products, systems, supplication, processes).
What You’ve Done Before:
- 5+ years of analysis, evaluation and user needs identification and quality assurance experience and skills to convert the needs and software requirements into Quality assurance and testing plans, test cases to release bug and error free software.
- 1+ years of experience leading testing activities including some technical API and data driven systems testing is a plus.
- Must have problem solving and consultant type skills to recognize, analyze, and respond to business and technical problems.
- Must have excellent written, verbal, and developing training content communications skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders related to integration management, risk management is a big plus.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision of day-to-day tasks.
- Proficiency to work with Microsoft excel, pivot tables, PowerPoint and SQL will increase your success probability across different work stream.
